PRECAMBRIAN TIME: Precambrian time was the pre before the Cambrian time it is the oldest time ever recorded. Precambrian time ended when the Cambrian explosion happened.

PALEOZOIC ERA: Paleozoic era started at the end of the Precambrian time then ended when Permian extinction happened. Organisms that were dominat was the invertebrates.
MESOZOIC ERA: the Mesozoic era started at the end of the palenozoic time, and ended with an asteroid impact. The dominant animal was the reptiles.
CENOZOIC ERA: the Cenozoic era began at the end of the Mesozoic era and has not yet ended. The dominant animal is mammals.
